The crew at ALTAIR has been handpicked to fulfill key roles. Our team is comprised of retired SOF Forces and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) in special operations missions and logistical areas.
Brian Jones, retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major, started ALTAIR to provide world-class facilities and services for Special Operations Forces, U.S. Government Agencies and our allies. Serving in the 2nd Ranger Battalion, the 75th Ranger Regiment, and 1st SFOD-D helped cultivate Brian’s vision for ALTAIR, an all-inclusive facility that supports cost-effective, full mission profile training, to assure that the United States and our allies have the best trained and equipped forces in the world.
Michelle served 13.5 years in the Army as a Transportation Officer. During her time as a logistician and planner she deployed in support of multiple operations around the world. She commanded two companies, the last being 89th Trans. Co. (Medium Truck) where she deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from May 04 to May 05. Michelle has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity and veteran’s initiatives.
Kevin Levija served as an enlisted Nuclear Electrician‘s Mate on submarines and as a Maintenance Officer completing three at sea deployments and one-year orders in Afghanistan. He continued his government career working with US European Command and US Africa Command located in Stuttgart, Germany from 2008-2014. Kevin joined ALTAIR as the Deputy Director of Operations and is still active in the Navy Reserves as a Lieutenant Commander. He lives in Naples with his wife Marie and three boys.
Gregg is a dedicated Firefighter Paramedic with over twelve years of experience. Gregg has experience oversees as a contract Firefighter in Iraq. He is also an NRA and Simunitions Range Safety Officer, who oversees both the Weapons and Medical Departments at ALTAIR Training Solutions. He has a robust listing of certifications for emergency services such as FBI Improvised Explosive Threat Briefing, Medical Preparedness and Response for Bombing Incidents, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Mary Jo has an extensive history working with the media as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology at Northern Illinois University. Mary Jo has worked for companies such as Gannett, News Bank Inc., E.W. Scripps Company, Lee Enterprises, Pulitzer, Inc. and Arthur Andersen. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Guardian Angels Medial Service Dogs, Inc.
